what you need to know

• Tomorrow [Map 1], crews will excavate across the east side of Wade Gate, just south of Centre St., with both northbound and southbound traffic shifted into the other half of the intersection.
• On Tuesday [Map 2], crews will excavate across the west side of Wade Gate, just south of Centre, with both northbound and southbound traffic shifted into the other half of the intersection.
• Crews will repave the excavated area each night and open up the lane closures.
• The crosswalk on the south side of the intersection will be closed during this work. In cases where sidewalks are closed around the work areas, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk.
• Traffic control staff and paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic as required.
• Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
