CentreMap

work dates*: Friday, March 17 to Wednesday, Mar. 29
work hours*: 7am–5pm, with closure in effect 24hrs/day

what you need to know:

  • To accommodate water main drilling work, the northbound through/right-hand turn lane on Carl Tennen St. will be closed just south of Centre St. Vehicles will use the left-hand turn lane for all movements [left, through, right] at this intersection.
  • Traffic on Vaughan Blvd., just north of Centre, will be shifted to the west side of the intersection. Southbound vehicles will use the right-hand turn lane for all movements [right, through, left] at this intersection.
  • Access to driveways will remain open during this work.
  • In cases where sidewalks are closed around the work areas, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk.
  • Traffic control staff and paid-duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic, as required.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
  • Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.

We understand that construction can be disruptive and we thank you in advance for your patience during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
