Tomorrow, crews will be removing median strips on Bathurst Street, south of the Bathurst and Centre Street intersection, in preparation for water main replacement work. Please see below for details:

what you need to know:

• Crews will be removing the median strip (the areas that separate opposing lanes of traffic) on Bathurst south of the Bathurst and Centre intersection. Following the removal, the area will be paved.
• In order to accommodate this work, southbound Bathurst will be reduced to one lane from just north of Centre Street to south of the work area. Additionally, one of the left-hand turning lanes for northbound Bathurst traffic will be closed near the work area.
• There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
• Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
