lane reductions on Bathurst Street

July 14, 2016

Due to heavy rain on Wednesday evening, the excavated pits can no longer support the steel plates that would allow traffic to use the northbound curb lane on Bathurst. As a result, there will be a 24 hour northbound curb lane closure on Bathurst from Beverley Glen Boulevard to just south of Atkinson Avenue for approximately one and a half weeks. See below for further details.

work dates*: Thursday, July 14 to Friday, July 22
work hours*: 24 hours per day

  • The excavated pits are required for upcoming drilling operations. Drilling is currently scheduled to happen late next week. The pits will then be filled and lanes will be reopened daily after regular crew working hours [9:30am-3:30pm].
  • Northbound Bathurst will be reduced to one lane from Beverley Glen to just south of Atkinson.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.

Thank you for your patience as we transform Bathurst & Centre. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
