overnight line painting on Bathurst & Centre Streets

June 20, 2016

To continue preparations for upcoming water main work, crews will be line painting overnight in the areas where medians were removed on Bathurst and Centre Streets. Please see below for further details:

work dates*: Tuesday, June 21 to Wednesday, June 22
work hours: 8pm–7am, overnight

  • Now that medians along Centre have been removed and paved, crews will be painting new traffic lines from just east of Bathurst to just west of Dufferin [crews will be heading westbound].
  • One eastbound and one westbound lane closure will be required through the work area.
  • Crews will also be touching-up existing traffic lines on Bathurst from just south of Centre to just north of the Highway 7 connector ramp [crews will be heading northbound].
  • One northbound and one southbound lane closure will be required through the work area.
  • Directional signs and paid-duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic, as needed.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks, including grinding of pavement, as the existing traffic lines are removed.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.

Thank you for your patience as we transform Bathurst & Centre. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
