Starting the week of February 29, utility location work will continue along Highway 7 West, Bathurst and Centre Streets over the next several weeks. There will also be surveying in the area of Highway 7 and Highway 400. This work will help prepare for the first stage of rapidway construction. Please see below for further details:
work dates*: Monday, Feb. 29 to Thursday, March 31
work hours: 7am–7pm
what you need to know:
- Utility location work continues along Highway 7, from Helen Street to Edgeley/Interchange Way, and parts of Bathurst & Centre Streets, from Bowes Road to Yonge Street, until the end of March.
- This work will require temporary, rolling lane closures.
- There may be some noise impacts associated with this work.
- Crews will be surveying on foot with standard surveying equipment around the ramps from Highway 7 to Hwy 400, though no lane closures will be required.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
