planting on Davis Drive continues this weekend

June 10, 2016

Over the past few weeks, crews have been planting trees, shrubs and perennials along Davis Drive between Yonge Street and Patterson Street / Roxborough Road. The corridor is becoming an even more attractive, pedestrian-friendly place for people to live, work, shop and play.

Starting this weekend, crews will be planting along the sidewalks from Tannery Mall to just east of Patterson / Roxborough.

work dates*: Saturday, June 11 to Saturday, June 18
work hours*: 7am-7pm

  • Temporary rolling curb-lane closures will be required to complete the work as crews move along the east and westbound lanes.
  • YRT buses will continue to drop-off/pick-up at all regular stops. Please board at curbside stops and shelters as normal.
  • Sidewalks will remain open.
  • Noise and dust are associated with this work.

* Please note: as with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
