Over the next several months, crews will be performing repair work along the corridor. This work is being done during the warranty period to ensure that quality is maintained in future years along Davis Drive. Next week, crews will be repairing curbs and sidewalks along the corridor, as well as sections of the Keith Bridge. Please read on for details.

curb repairs

Crews will be doing minor repairs to the concrete curbs on Davis from just west of Yonge Street to Alexander Road / Huron Heights Drive.

work dates*: Monday April 11 – Friday, April 15
work hours: 7am-7pm

• There will be short duration, rolling curb lane closures as work progresses along the corridor, starting just west of Yonge.
• There may noise and dust associated with this work.

sidewalk repairs

As part of warranty work, crews will be replacing sections of sidewalk in the following areas:

• On the east side of Yonge Street, north of Davis
• On the north side of Davis between George Street and Barbara Road
• On the north side of Davis, east of the Tannery intersection

work dates*: Monday April 11 – Friday, April 15
work hours: 7am-7pm

• As crews are working in each area, they will temporarily close the sidewalk. Follow pedestrian signage to guide you to your destination.
• Entrances to businesses in these areas will remain open.

repair work on Keith Bridge

Crews will be performing repair work on the south side of Keith Bridge.

work dates*: Monday, April 11-Tuesday, April 12
work hours: 9:30am-4:00pm

• There will be eastbound lane closures in place, east of the Tannery intersection during this work.

* Please note: as with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
