The transformation of Davis Drive continues as we approach the end of the year. Please read on for details of upcoming activities on the corridor.

YRT shelter installation

YRT crews will be working at the roadside along Davis from Yonge Street to Huron Heights Drive/Alexander Road installing new YRT shelters at their permanent locations.

work dates: Monday, November 9 – Friday, November 20*
work hours: 7am-7pm*

• Temporary curb lane closures will be required to complete the work.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained on sidewalks.
• YRT will continue service on Davis during this activity. Bus stops may be relocated or closed as work progresses. Look for signs and follow directions.

weekend work on Davis

Crews will be out this weekend along the corridor, working on sidewalks, crosswalks, vivastations and street lighting. There will be temporary lane and sidewalk closures in sections of Davis to accommodate the work. Please use extra caution in the construction zone.

As we are in the final stages before opening the rapidway, planned activities may change or other work may be added to take full advantage of favourable weather or available crews so the work can be completed as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
