new traffic lights at Southlake vivastation

October 29, 2015

As part of the transformation of Davis Drive, a new set of traffic lights has been installed at the Davis entrance to Southlake Regional Health Centre. This new signalized intersection will service the Southlake vivastation, as well as enhance access to the hospital and provide an option for pedestrians needing to cross Davis between Lundy’s Lane/Prospect Street and Roxborough Road. Once the new traffic lights are activated next week, audible pedestrian signals will be available.

work dates: Monday, November 2*
work hours: 5am-8am*

  • Expect delays through the area as this work is taking place.
  • Paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained along the corridor. Watch for signs and follow directions.

As we are in the final stages before opening the rapidway, planned activities may change or other work may be added to take full advantage of favourable weather or available crews so the work can be completed as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you have questions about the rapidway project, please contact your Community Liaison.
