Weather conditions prevented crews from completing the paving of the eastbound and westbound lanes on Davis Drive earlier this week. Please read on for details of the revised paving schedule.

Crews will complete the paving of the westbound lanes from Bayview Parkway to west of Main Street and the eastbound lanes from 736 Davis Drive to east of Alexander Road on Thursday, October 22.

work hours: 7am-7pm*

• Davis Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction where paving is taking place.
• At times, traffic will be shifted to the centre rapidway lanes. Traffic barrels and paid duty police officers will help navigate drivers through the work zone.
• YRT will continue service on Davis during this activity. Bus stops may be relocated or closed as work progresses. Look for signs and follow directions.
• Temporary parking will be available on designated side streets. For information on how to access your favourite shops, restaurants and services on Davis, please visit our paving page.
• Pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained. Follow signs to help guide you to your destination.

The red asphalt paving at intersections between Main Street and Roxborough Road has been postponed until Friday, October 23 and will be completed Saturday, October 24. Please see our last construction bulletin for details.

Bayview Parkway and Alexander Road will be closed to traffic at Davis Drive on October 22.

As we are in the final stages before opening the rapidway, planned activities may change or other work may be added to take full advantage of favourable weather or available crews so the work can be completed as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
