We’re getting closer! Crews will be paving the next section of rapidway from Main Street to Roxborough Road starting on Tuesday, October 13.

Once the red asphalt is complete on the east end of the corridor, the second phase of black paving will take place from Main to east of Huron Heights Drive/Alexander Road.

work dates: Tuesday, October 13 – Wednesday, October 14*
work hours: 7am-7pm*

what you need to know:

• Crews will only be paving the centre lane rapidway. Intersections will remain open during the work.
• Traffic control personnel will be on hand to help navigate drivers through the work zone as machines cross the intersection.
• Pedestrian access around the area will be maintained. Follow signs to help guide you to your destination.
• To prepare, crews may need to set up and drop off materials and machinery outside of regular work hours [i.e. overnight]. Please expect construction-related noise.
• YRT will continue service on Davis during this activity. Bus stops may be relocated or closed as work progresses and routes may be detoured. Look for signs and follow directions.

Drivers and pedestrians are reminded to watch for traffic shifts and signs that will guide you along your way. Drive with care through construction zones and give yourself enough time to safely arrive at your destination.
