Please see below for information on Davis Drive line painting and work taking place around Main Street and the Tannery entrance this week.

Crews will be line painting traffic lines, stop bars and crosswalks at intersections and side streets in various locations along Davis from Yonge Street to Roxborough Road.

Work dates: Tuesday, March 10 – Wednesday, March 11*
Work times: From approximately 9 am – 7 pm

What you need to know

• Temporary, rolling lane closures will be required
• To maintain traffic flow along Davis, lanes will be shifted as the work progresses. Please watch for and follow directional signs
• Access to businesses will be maintained and paid duty police officers will be onsite to manage traffic at intersections
• Please expect traffic delays. GO Train commuters, please adjust your travel-times accordingly and give yourself extra time to get to your destination
• Line painting around the Tannery is scheduled to occur during off-peak commuting hours
• Please note this operation is weather dependent and may be postponed with short notice if weather does not permit

telecommunications installation across the Tannery entrance

Crews will be installing telecommunications [ductbank] across The Tannery entrance.

Work date: Tuesday, March 10 – Friday, March 13*
Work times: From approximately 8:30 am – 4 pm

What you need to know

• Lane closures within the Tannery driveway will be necessary to accommodate this work, however vehicles will still be able to enter and exit the Tannery
• Please expect delays and adjust your travel-times accordingly
• This work will not take place during GO train arrival/departures times

work around Main and Davis intersection

Crews will be installing electrical conduits for permanent traffic signals around the Main and Davis intersection.

Work date: Wednesday, March 11 – Friday, March 13*
Work times: From approximately 8:30 am – 4 pm

What you need to know

• Short-term lane closures of the eastbound curb lane on Davis around Main Street and the northbound lane on Main Street North will be required
• Sidewalk closures around the work area may be required. Please follow directional signs that will guide you to the nearest open sidewalk
