An update on Davis Drive construction activities is provided below and includes information on paving, night work and intermittent lane closures.

Paving dates: Began today and will continue on Saturday October 18 and Monday, October 20
Hours of operation: from approximately 7:00am – 7:00pm
Note: Please expect traffic delays as intermittent driveway and road closures will be required.

Paving locations:

• Portions of Vincent Street, Main Street, Bayview Parkway, Bolton Avenue and Lundy’s Lane just north of Davis
• Along the north side of Davis from east of Bayview Parkway to just west of Patterson Street

night work at main and roxborough

Crews will be working overnight [7:00pm – 7:00am] in two locations along Davis Drive. They will be installing a portion of new telecommunications [ductbank] at Main Street and relocating an existing telecommunications underground structure near Roxborough Road. We apologize in advance for the noise associated with this night work.

Work areas:

• Main and Davis – Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24*
• Roxborough/Patterson and Davis – Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 31*

What you need to know:

• Traffic lanes will be reduced around both work areas. In the morning, the road will be plated and re-opened.
• Police officers will be onsite to direct and manage traffic flow.
• Please follow directional signs to guide you to the nearest open bus stop or sidewalk.
