Crews have finished widening the road and installing new curbs on the north side Davis Drive from Vincent Street to Main Street North and from Keith Bridge to east of Bayview Parkway. Next week crews will pave these newly widened sections. Please see more details below.
Paving dates: Monday, October 6 from approximately 6:30am — 7:00pm*
Note: This work is weather-dependent and can be rescheduled at any time
Paving locations:
- Vincent Street to Main Street North
- Keith Bridge to east of Bayview Parkway; and
- A portion of Bayview Parkway just north of Davis
what you need to know:
- Bayview Parkway will be reduced to one lane for both north and southbound traffic. Please expect traffic delays in this area and give yourself enough time to get to your destination
- At times, access to driveways will be temporarily disrupted. Police officers and traffic personnel will be onsite to direct and manage traffic flow
- The west crosswalk at Main and Davis will be closed
- Pedestrian access from the Tannery intersection to Bayview Parkway will be maintained on the south side of Davis only
- The shared westbound YRT/GO bus stop [# 2590] located at Bayview Parkway will be temporarily relocated east
- The shared eastbound YRT/GO bus stop [# 2607/2608] currently located in front of the Senior’s Meeting Place will be temporarily moved in front of Big Daddy’s
- There will be increased truck activity around work areas. Please pay close attention when driving or walking
