Temporary driveway narrowing at 230 Davis Drive

Crews are moving forward with work on a retaining wall and small culvert at 230 Davis Drive [Church of Christ], on the south side just east of Longford Drive.

To date crews have: prepared and excavated the work area, and diverted the culvert water through piping.

Work timeline: This work is scheduled for completion by June*

Work to be completed
  • Preparing the area for retaining wall construction
  • Building the retaining wall
  • Backfilling and restoring the area and driveway
Lane closures (see map)
  • Until the retaining wall is complete, the permanent eastbound curb lane closure on Davis Drive will remain in place around the work area — just east of Longford Drive to just past 260 Davis Drive.

What you need to know
  • The eastbound bus stop in front of 200 Davis Drive will be relocated to just west of Parkside Drive as of April 1. Please follow onsite signs.
  • This work will have noise and vibration impacts.
  • The sidewalk on the south side of Davis Drive around the work area will continue to be closed. When crossing to the north sidewalk, please use the signalized intersection at either Longford Drive or Lorne Avenue.
