As part of the Davis Drive rapidway project, a new south side of the Keith Bridge was built and now we’re focusing on rebuilding the north side to complete the bridge. Traffic lanes on Davis Drive, from just west of Bayview Parkway to just east of the railway tracks, will shift to the new south side of the bridge and be reduced to three lanes – two eastbound and one westbound [see map].
Dates: Preparation work is from October 25 to November 19, and the lane shift will last for approximately a year*
Description of work
To prepare the new section of the Keith Bridge for vehicle traffic, crews will be:
Once preparations are complete, traffic will be shifted to the south bridge section and a temporary sidewalk will be opened on the south side. The north side of the bridge will be demolished and rebuilt to be wider.

The current detour will remain in effect for most of the construction.
