In preparation for the construction on the north side of the Keith Bridge, a number of services need to be relocated. As part of this work, crews will relocate sanitary lines in front of the Seniors’ Meeting Place / Newmarket Chamber of Commerce.

Dates: Starting Thursday, October 18 for approximately a week*
Times: 7am-7pm

Work area

In front of Newmarket Chamber of Commerce / Seniors’ Meeting Place.

Description of work:

Crews will intermittently work between the west and east sides of the driveway to relocate sanitary lines and a water line [see map].

Construction impacts

• The eastbound curb lane on Davis Drive will be closed, at times, around work areas.
• The parking lot in front of the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce will be closed during this work.
• At times, the driveway may be narrowed due to immediate work in the area.
• The bus stop in front of the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce and the Tannery will be relocated west of Superior Street for approximately one year.
• As required, a paid duty officer will be on site to direct traffic and pedestrians.

Please note: There may be short-term noise disturbances and intermittent vibration associated to this work.
