Transit connections are being transformed in the City of Markham—beginning Sunday, September 4, 2022, riders will be able to board YRT local and Viva buses at the new Cornell Bus Terminal – located northeast of Highway 7 and Ninth Line. To prepare for the terminal’s opening, YRT is conducting driver training over the next few weeks.

  • Designed to be accessible from every direction to pedestrians, cyclists and transit customers.
  • Offers a passenger pick-up and drop-off area with 12 spaces on the east side of the terminal. The Cornell Bus Terminal is a part of the transit-oriented development in the Cornell community. While there is no parking at the terminal, customers will access the terminal by taking transit, walking, cycling or being dropped off.
