Bus stop relocations: Highway 7 East - February 02, 2012

The Regional Municipality of York is offering two months of free transit service to any rider who uses any YRT/Viva route in York Region, beginning Saturday, February 4, 2012 until Saturday, March 31, 2012. Decommissioning traffic signals at Highway 7 and Millway Avenue - November 10, 2011

As of Friday, November 11, the eastbound and westbound YRT bus stops located at Highway 7 West and Millway Avenue will be closed. The traffic signals at this intersection have been decommissioned, and construction to widen this section of Highway 7 is beginning as part of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) project. Highway 7 West bus stop relocation: Bayview Avenue – November 7, 2011

As of Friday, November 11, the westbound YRT\Viva stop on the north side of Highway 7 at Bayview Avenue will be relocated 175 metres to the east of the existing station to accommodate rapidway construction. New stairs and a temporary pathway are available for walking between Bayview Avenue and the new bus stop on Highway 7.
