Highway 7 East lane closures for August 27 – September 3

Road widening work continues along Highway 7 East. Lane closures and temporary bus stop relocations will be taking place along Highway 7 from Bayview Avenue to Warden Avenue, over the next four weeks. We may be working on weekends as well, depending on construction progress (except during the Labour Day long weekend). We will keep you updated regularly with summaries of the construction impacts.
Bayview Avenue
Westbound curb lane closed on Highway 7
- August 29 to 31, 9:30am to 3:30pm
- Current Viva bus stop will not be impacted
- Access to the pedestrian stairs at Highway 7 and Bayview Avenue will remain open
Leslie Street
Constant noise from heavy machinery and intermittent beeping (back-up alarms) from trucks on the eastbound lanes of Highway 7 from Pond Drive to Commerce Valley East

Allstate Parkway
One lane closure in each direction (eastbound and westbound) on Highway 7, between Allstate Parkway and Woodbine Avenue. Lanes will only be closed where median removals are taking place
- August 30 to September 2, 9:30am to 3:30pm
