Lane and road closures along Highway 7 East

During the week of July 18* we will be installing catch basin sewers and continuing watermain work along Highway 7 East.

What are the impacts and details of the watermain work?

Rockwell Road closed at Highway 7. Plaza entrance closure at 360 Highway 7 East (between Rockwell Road and Chalmers Road):
> July 18-22
> Cars can use the alternate entrance off Chalmers Road
> Signs will be in place to inform motorists of the closure

Closure of westbound right turn lane at Highway 7 and Chalmers Road:
> July 20-22

One lane closure may be required on Highway 7, between Valleymede Drive and West Beaver Creek Road:
> July 20-22, 9:30am – 3:30pm

Will any bus stops be affected?
> Westbound curb lane will be closed at Chalmers Road for night work

YRT bus stop at Highway 7 and Chalmers (northeast corner) will be relocated to the northwest side of the intersection:
> July 20-22
> Temporary bus platform will be in place for riders

Lane closures at Highway 7 and Allstate Parkway, starting on south side and moving to the north side. Eastbound curb lane will be closed the first night:
> Week of July 18, over 4-5 nights, 7pm – 7am
> Only one lane closed at a time
> No bus stops will be affected
